The Actors’ Society connects the actor with the industry in an atmosphere designed to support, educate and inspire professional actors in their career development.
Imagine a place, where you, the actor, can get the support and advice you need from the industry you're trying to break into. There is only so much university and drama school can teach you but nothing can prepare you for the real deal, except of course, the industry itself. That's why we endeavour to source the advice and support you require from industry experts themselves to put you ahead of the game and open doors to new opportunities. Helping to make your career a success is what we're all about!
Join the Society today to take part in our introductory offer of FREE membership, available for a limited period. The perfect opportunity to take our service for a spin and see how we can help you.

Film critic for the Guardian, Catherine Shoard, kicked off proceedings by introducing a distinguished line-up of transatlantic guest speakers, including UK casting director Jeremy Zimmerman (Hellboy, The Scorpion King) and author/casting director Nancy Bishop (Secrets from the Casting Couch), from the US. Initial questions directed at the experts were concerned with HOW to get work across the pond, WHAT it is about us Brits that seems to appeal to American filmmakers and WHAT the dos and don’ts are in getting ahead.
