Background

Many actors along the way come up against obstacles and struggle to find the support they need to find direction and good advice. The Actors’ Society was created to support, inspire, motivate and educate actors to keep them shining on their journey. We are here to cushion the career lows with encouragement and sound advice to empower actors and keep their passion alive.

What We Do

Imagine a place, where you, the actor, can get the support and advice you need from the industry you’re trying to break into. There is only so much university and drama school can teach you but nothing can prepare you for the real deal, except of course, the industry itself. That’s why we endeavour to source the advice and support you require from industry experts themselves to put you ahead of the game and open doors to new opportunities.

This society offers access to some unique resources tailored to its members. We pull together resources from all over the industry, not only industry experts - we believe you are an incredible and important resource too! We love to hear about your ideas and experiences and give you the opportunity to share them with other members to help the Society and its community become an even better place for learning and development.
